This week ~Sakudraven~Richard-chan and I had our friend ~9-Undaaground from Airzona come up and spend about a week with us. They got her at 8:30pm saturday night, we ordered pizza because it was so late to start a BBQ. On sunday morning lightning hit the telphone pole in my front lawn,traveled through the wires to the lamp post across the street and blow up the light.The lightning blew off peices of the wood from the telephone pole and glass was all over the place.



The four of us were sleeping in my basement and suddenly a HUGE bang went off, it sounded as if someone set off a canon in my basement right beside us, it was so loud that Hoshi's mother and sister who were staying at the travelodge hotel atleast more then 10 blocks away heard it also.It was crazy! We were without TV and phones for a day.We had to phone the phone company to come from a cellphone or something.



In the week we went shopping and swimming and miniputting.



About on...Monday night we went swimming, it looked like a storm was going to come but there wasn't really any dark clouds around.So when we went swimming there were huge waves and it was so much fun. About maybe a hour and a half into swimming ~9-Undaaground heard thunder off in the distance ( she's really afraid of thunder storms) so she started to bolt out of the water. (We were about close to 100 ft out)She was far from us when she heard it and when we noticed she was going in we heard the thunder.



~Sakudraven and I looked behind us and saw lightning and i was all like "Ok lightning..time to get out!" So Saku Richard and I were trying to catch up to Hoshi as fast as we could but the waves of the water were pushing us under a bit and sucking us back.Richard froze so couldn't move her legs so Saku had to drag her in, I got to shore first and caught up to Hoshi and hugged her because she was so scarred she was shaking really bad. Once everyone was on shore we tried to find a place to hide(It was REALLY windy at the time and you could tell it was going to rain the sky looked like a dark greyish blue/black.)



We found shelter in a motel office and we sat Hoshi down on a chair and wrapped her in towels.Then it started to rain really HARD. You couldn't even see the pavement.

The old woman who ran the hotel asked if we wanted to phone our parents so I phoned my mom to pick us up and my sister said they my mom and Hoshi's mom and sister already left to come get us.And we didn't tell them which public beach we'd be at. So Saku and I ran out barefoot in the hard rain on the pavement to see if my mom and was searching for us at the beach and then we ran to the next one and they saw us running and pulled over. We got in and drove to the hotel and we all jumped in th van.



On the way home like 2-3 blocks away, we were driving and the rain got worse so you couldn't see bascially anything, good thing my mom is used to driving in rain like that.



We saw a shopping cart go FLYING across the street behind us (Just barely missing us) And same with a big garbage can.



Half way down the street lightning and thunder was going off and the wind picked up and was shaking the van a bit.I think thats when the wind hit the beach we were at. Because when we got home we made a dash for the house and ran into the basement and turned on the TV. And it said a series of several storms merged into one and there were sightings of funnel clouds and tornado's (Which we NEVER got before)



Trees were blown down and wires fell, trees on streets highways,houses cars. One branch on the tree infront of my house fell, if it weren't for the second tree right infront of my house the branch would have hit our house.



There was actually one death during all that.Someone camping in the small area of Mattawa.A couple of trees fell and crushed him in his tent.D:



But other then the near death thing and shit the week was fun!!" title=" (Big Grin)" /> Her mother was even looking at houses for sale up here in North Bay,ON. She's thinking of moving here if she can get things all set up in fixing up her house selling it, and everything about her job.That'd be so awesome! Hoshi also got me back into Iceman songs @_@ I'm so forcing her to burn me copies of her ICEMAN cd's. OWO



DNT and I are hoping to all save up money to travel to Airzona in the beginning of January, Hoshi's mother said she's take us to see the Grand Canyon,which I have always wanted to see!>;w<;

This is the tree that for pulled out of the ground from the winds. It is also the tree that we had our towels on/The one Hoshi was standing on in link above.



This is a picture taken from the water of what it looks like.Thats only part of it.And we were at that park.Probably 15 minutes after we left all those trees came down.
